Rimouski, host city of the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup Tournament, May 15-24

This event is the most prestigious hockey tournament in Canada. The participants are the champion teams of the Québec Major Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey League, as well as the host team.

For more than 10 days, about 200 journalists from everywhere in Canada and the United States will follow the event. A lot of scouts, players' agents and representatives of the different Hockey Leagues and the National Hockey League will be there. The event has a 3 Million dollars budget and will generate important economical impacts and visibility from Coast to Coast for the whole Rimouski region.
